Next, we enter the portfolio inception stage. Here, models are expected to curate a collection of your best expressions and poses but it’s a space for you to craft your photography skills and individuality. It’s about making clients’ heads turn and for them to sit up and take notice of you!
After this, newcomers can tap into the social media platforms and create a modelling reel (read more about this here) to showcase what you’re about as a live demonstration. It feeds clients a real-time perspective of you and what you can bring to the table.
We then move on to matching you to assignments. We discuss how the decision of a client hiring you ultimately falls with them but we actively try to increase your chances by putting you forward for as many relevant jobs which come our way.
Models Direct has a unique offering whereby we have a live job board and it is what it means. An online page which lists the latest modelling jobs that models, newbies and experts, can apply directly for. We give our models greater control by allowing them to put themselves forward for a gig they feel will suit their interests.
If you’re selected, we’ll inform you, share the brief and request if you’re happy to go ahead. If you find that you’re not able to commit yourself to an upcoming assignment, we request that you let us know as soon as so that we have enough time to fill it in.
If you do decide to go ahead, our assigned coordinator will be in touch again to see how you’re feeling pre-assignment. We’re available during the gig and touch base after to get an understanding of how it went for you.
