“My agent, Charlie at Models Direct, is one of the best agents I have ever been represented by. She always has my best interests at heart….”
Securing a modelling contract with the right agency is so important when launching your modelling career, depending on what sector of the industry you want to get into will play a large part in deciding which agency is the right one for you!
……Always wanted to be a model, but unsure where to start?
Models Direct team regularly hears this question. Our industry is a minefield with a variety of companies claiming to be modelling agencies, it’s not easy to know who would be most suited to launch your modelling career. The more promises and maybes you read, the less likely they can help. In the first place in the tiny print you’ll read ‘We’re not an agency and therefore don’t find work’. Following that legally required admission, it’s all downhill offering only ‘photos and advice’.
The Summer months are here and the Models Direct bookings team are very busy speaking with brands all over the UK finding them the perfect models for their upcoming campaigns.
This blog gives you a round up of feedback from a selection of models who have been working for the agency this week, the assignment types vary from stills to filming, fee’s and locations – check out how they got on!
Your modelling portfolio is the first thing a client sees when you are being promoted for work by Models Direct – why wouldn’t you make sure yours stands out from the rest??
At Models Direct it is not essential to have professional pictures, we don’t ask our models to have expensive portfolios either, however it is essential to provide us with good, clear, up to date images of yourself, for us to have the best chance of securing you work.
If you think you have a mini supermodel or little superstar on your hands then the Models Direct team can’t wait to hear from you….
With applications from parents of wanna-be child models on the rise, the Models Direct team spend alot of time talking to parents of young babies right through to early teens, getting to know them and understanding why they want to get into the glamorous life of child modelling!
Every parent thinks their child is beautiful, it’s natural, but what do you do if other people comment often on your child’s looks? Should you be putting them forward to agencies? Do you want them represented in the commercial world of advertisements and promotions? Alot of parents do!
“The two days at the studio has helped me to appreciate how long an advert for the TV takes to make and I loved being part of it. Can’t wait for my next Job. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Great two days.” – Khaled
