We know that where there is a demand for a certain type of model, we’ll always do our best to exceed expectations. Whilst we provide the best commercial models for the widest range of exceptional brands, there are some sectors that crop up more than others.

Official government records of the UK’s largest sectors by size shows three significant areas of business:
- Retail / wholesale
- Healthcare / social care
- Hospitality
We may highlight the first two in later blogs (for we have provided thousands of models for them), but we’ll concentrate on the hospitality sector for now.
Why hospitality? Well, it’s probably the most familiar with models over the age of 15 years, and it’s one that plenty of models would have worked in – even for a short shift. Plus, there are always new pubs, restaurants, cafes and hotels opening across the country, so to keep their image fresh, most hospitality businesses will consider suing the right commercial models for their campaigns on social media and on their websites. Without the right publicity, businesses can survive (and fair play to them), but with effective tools, they can surpass their expectations and become the most sought-after places for visiting locals and tourists. And real models remain one of the best tools used by business in any sector.
Thousands of our models have sent in their excellent reviews, which is perfectly understandable due to the nature of our business. We do receive a fair share of top-notch feedback from hospitality modelling jobs, and we can highlight the following points as reasons why models love modelling for hospitality venues:
- As there are so many hospitality outlets throughout the country (and particularly in larger cities and towns), transport to the venue is often convenient for most models.
- Hospitality modelling regularly demands working with larger groups. This can alleviate any first-time nerves and cement friendships.
- Fancy getting paid to pose as customers in cosy environments? Then hospitality modelling is for you.
- Most hospitality jobs offer free food and refreshments for participating models!
There’s something so inviting about posing for brands in comfortable surroundings, and there are always plenty of them on offer.

If you want to be recommended for modelling assignments in pubs and restaurants, please do what you should be doing every couple of months or so: posting fresh photos on your Models Direct portfolio so our clients know you’re taking the booking process seriously.
There’s no reason at all why new models won’t be selected for superb jobs in the hospitality sector, like those we’ve placed with Flaming Grill and Cote Brasserie. Another brand is Greene King, who have about 2,700 pubs, restaurants and hotels across the country – and that’s just one client, so imagine the potential.
Hospitality modelling is always required. If you want to be considered, please apply with us. If you’re already a Models Direct model but haven’t been selected by one of our numerous clients, keep the faith and do everything you can to elevate your profile.
