The summer sun’s adding more hours of happiness into your day. If you’re a model, you might be summer-ready for more modelling gigs. Now, which model doesn’t want that? When you’ve been waiting during the colder months for work, you’ll want to fire up your chances during the pinnacle of the summer solstice. For this to happen, you’re in control. Bright, happy colours
Make your images fun and add beams of gorgeous vibrant colours like yellow, orange, blue, green and white. This will help uplift and make them cheerful. Whether this is with summer make-up, such as cute eyeshadow colours, lipstick that pops out or warm highlighter, and apparel that carries a heavy summery vibe, include this in your shots to diversify your looks.
Perfect backdrop
Clear blue skies and greenery as far as the eye can see make way for a perfect background to add to your existing collection. Frame your image so that you include some warm backdrops to illustrate the sunny weather and where you are but don’t be tempted to cram it with too much info.
Unclutter your snaps
Summer can be a busy time but that doesn’t mean your modelling selfies should be distractingly busy too. Keep them free of background clutter, so that when clients see you – that’s all they’ll be focused on rather than the other people you were in the pool or hot tub with, or your volunteering colleagues when you wanted to demo your extra-curricular skills.
Summer plans
If you have any activity specifically tuned in for this midsummer, such as outdoor swimming, playing squash on the beach, doing a summer internship or volunteering in the library (summer reading challenge ring a bell?), include pics that show what you’re up to. This will attract interest from clients so your summer plans needn’t be overshadowed by anything.
